The three tracks from the Combat Grind-demo can now be heard from our MySpace. Don't waste your time - head on over there and listen to this mile stone in the Hideous Invasion chronicles!
It will still be some time before the demo is ready for sale and other distribution.

Last night we performed at the Metal Magic Festival. Despite it being an audio nightmare on stage and the stage room being less than half full we still had a blast!
We spoke with many different kinds of people who enjoyed the show, which is what it's all about. Thanks to those who showed and those who bothered giving us feedback afterwards and thanks to Martin Impaler for arranging the whole thing.
A special thanks goes to Masturbator Annihilator for once again being at the very front and banging his head and shouting all sorts of crazy stuff at us!

We have just returned from the recording session of our second demo! We are all very pleased with the final result and look forward to hear what the critics and metal heads have to say about it.
The demo will be called Combat Grind and feature the following tracks:
1. Death by Howitzer
2. Eternal Tyranny
3. Ancient Warfare
All of these were performed at the Artillery support gig earlier this year. They will soon be on our MySpace-page and hopefully soon in stock for purchase.

Well we didn't get enough votes to win the Godzzfest gig. Thanks to those who voted for us though!
Now we can concentrate on rehearsals for the next demo along with creating an intense set list for Metal Magic Festival.

Finally some big(ger) news in Hideous Invasion camp:
Hideous Invasion will be entering Earplug Studio the third weekend of October to record their long-awaited second demo!
Furthermore: Hideous Invasion will be performing at Metal Magic Festival. More info under shows.

Hideous Invasion is amongst five finalists who have the chance of playing at this years Godzzfest in Kolding, Denmark.
We need the most votes to win this gig. If you want us to win this thing send an email to battle2008@danishmetal.dk in which you simply write "Battle of Godzzfest 2008" in the subject-field and "Hideous Invasion" in the body. Thanks for your support.

No news about the next demo nor are there any upcoming gigs confirmed.
Anyways a photo gallery containing pictures from the gig earlier this year at The Rock has been created.

A new Photo-section has been created and the plan is that future concert and promotional photos can be found there.

Well this is an update on the last news post.
Due to technical malfunctions Riffbag didn't get to record any drums, which of course is quite annoying.
But this just means that we also have to record the drums for our next demo when we find a studio.
That brings us to our next point on the news agenda: Hideous Invasion is now considering which recording studio to use for their next demo.
When we know something we will let you know!

Just a quick update: No we are not dead! In fact in next week Riffbag will start recording drum tracks for what will hopefully be our next three track demo!
Hopefully recording of the rest will follow shortly after. Stay tuned for updates on this.
In other news: Jesper has been quite busy writing nearly every venue he has come across, but so far there has been no interest in booking us.

Yesterday Hideous Invasion played their first real gig. It went very well for a first show and a lot of people told us afterwards how pleased they were with the performance. Thanks! The band is now more keen than ever on playing lots of live shows in the near future!
